Koplan iNtuthuko Planning and Development (Pty) Ltd trading as KiPD, focuses on town planning and development facilitation centered around creating liveable, ecological and economic enhancing cities. KiPD is comprised of a team of professional Town Planners which collectively has over 75 years of town planning knowledge and expertise in urban studies. We deal with developments of all scales across the country. We are able to undertake a large spectrum of development procedures, which include facilitating land use developments, producing spatial and strategic plans as well as handling matters dealing with planning law.
We as KiPD are passionate about development, and strive to ensure that each and every project that we embark on provides value to its surroundings, as well as adheres to the principles of sound planning which are cognisant of the ecological environment, the social wellbeing of the residents, and the economic upliftment of the area. We systematically analyse and understand the current situation surrounding the development, as well as figure out place specific solutions for the subject developments. Some of our projects that exemplify this principle include various scales of residential development which range from low cost to high end typologies, as well as office, commercial and industrial projects.
Apart from land use developments, KIPD also has a track record of developing large scale development policy which have been adopted by the various municipalities and implemented in their day to day operations. These include spatial development frameworks and precinct plans. In addition to the above KIPD is also involved in service delivery projects through a number of governmental departments and provide the town planning services required in the development of schools, clinics and housing projects.
